Peyton Ramm, owner of Ramm Bladesmithing, LLC is a Journeyman Smith working on obtaining the Master Smith title.
It all began in 2012 when Peyton started making castrating knives due to the high demand to ranchers. Through learning from Tom Harms along with a trial and error approach, Peyton started to develop his own style of knives.
In 2017, Peyton took his first class through the American Bladesmith Society and then a private class with James R Cook, an ABS Master Smith in Arkansas. Then in 2018, he attended the GRS training school in Emporia, KS and started his own engraving which includes gold and silver in lay. In the fall of 2019, Peyton took a liner lock class with Master Smith, Jason Tiensvold.
Three years after his first class, in 2020, Peyton took a heat treating class in Colorado with Kevin Cashen. He then went on to have the amazing opportunity to compete in the History Channel's 'Forged in Fire' and came out on top as the Season 7, Episode 17 Champion.
Currently, Peyton is making custom order knives and enjoying teaching others with the hopes to host more classes in the future. In the Ramm household, family comes first as Peyton and Hope have started their family in the Sandhills of Nebraska, south of Valentine.
